Pragmatic, concise and easy to remember tips and rules fill the pages. You want less noise, less clutter, less interruption in your day to day life read DIAL IT DOWN. But read it in stages. Use it as a manual to help you tackle your electronics, paperwork, organization and attitude to streamline your life so you actually can relax. Very very helpful and liberating read!!!
Jeff Davidson is the guru of living simply, and Dial It Down, Live It Up helps you do just that. Chock full of wonderful tips for getting through life while getting the most out of it, it's a must-read for anyone whose too-hectic life leaves them exhausted.
Davidson does it again. Another book of practical ideas. He's all about simplicity--living with little overhead (figuratively and in reality). This latest book provides more steps in that direction. Informational. Easy to read. Plenty of action items here if you're serious about simplifying.
If there's anybody who's an expert on work/life balance, it's Jeff Davidson. What I like so much about his books is their simplicity and practicality. They are easy to read and loaded with actionable tips. Dial It Down, Live It Up is yet another winner for Jeff. Well done!
I. Love. This. Book!!! Jeff's tips are so useful and practical and help me stay organized in the midst of lots of competing responsibilities, projects, etc. This book is a manual I refer back to often when I need to get (re)organized and focused. He's mastered this conversation about how to maintain balanced while purposeful and provides tips and tools that are immediately applicable.
Trying to slow down is getting harder to do. A constant onslaught of ‘new’ information, ‘new’ events and ‘new’ priorities make it more challenging. Jeff has given practical advice how to ‘dial it back down’ and focus on what is really important. As a plus the book is beautiful with incredible pictures throughout. By dialing it down we really can live it up!
As someone who always has 100 on-going projects, both work and personal I give this book two thumbs up. After reading "Dial It Down, Live It Up" I can finally peacefully sleep the whole night through without periodically waking up worrying if I missed something. This book has helped me simplify my life while accurately organizing my life and projects so that no line item is missed, giving me tremendous peace of mind knowing every item is either complete or on a timely track for completion.
